Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LaunchPilot, a distribution planning tool operated by LaunchPilot ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Who can use LaunchPilot
You may use LaunchPilot if:
- You are at least 16 years old
- You are not located in a country subject to a UK, EU, or US government embargo
- You are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties
- Your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
If you are using LaunchPilot on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share your password. Don't use someone else's account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at nikhilsaiankilla@gmail.com.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by anyone you give access to.
What LaunchPilot provides
LaunchPilot generates a 7-day distribution plan based on the product information you provide. The plan includes:
- Community matches with fit scores across Reddit, Discord, newsletters, and more
- A sequenced day-by-day posting schedule
- AI-generated post copy tailored to each community's culture and rules
- Blog post generation with one-click publishing to DEV.to and Hashnode (Pro and Growth plans)
- Comment reply suggestions and competitor angle analysis (Growth plan)
The plan is a starting point, not a guarantee of results. Fit scores are calculated algorithmically and reflect community characteristics — they are not predictions of traffic or signups. Your actual results will depend on many factors outside our control, including the quality of your product, your execution, and platform dynamics at the time of posting.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use LaunchPilot to:
- Generate spam, coordinated inauthentic content, or posts designed to manipulate platform algorithms
- Violate the terms of service of any platform where you post (Reddit, Discord, etc.)
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute generated plans or copy without permission
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the LaunchPilot platform
- Upload or describe products that are illegal, harmful, or deceptive
- Impersonate another person or entity in generated content
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Use the service in any way that damages, disables, or impairs LaunchPilot infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion.
Intellectual property
Your content
You retain ownership of the product information you submit and the generated copy you receive. You grant LaunchPilot a limited licence to use your product description to generate your plan and, in aggregate and anonymised form, to improve the service.
Our platform
LaunchPilot — including the software, design, community database, scoring algorithms, and all platform content — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the LaunchPilot platform or its databases without explicit written permission.
Payments and billing
Paid plans (Pro and Growth) are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by Polar. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no mid-period refunds
- If payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days. After that, your account is downgraded to Free
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured until renewal
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
LaunchPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaunchPilot's total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LaunchPilot harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) content you submit; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
Termination
You may stop using LaunchPilot at any time. You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, or for any reason with 30 days notice. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a paid subscription.
On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes arising from these Terms.
Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact us at legal@launchpilot.app and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for at least 30 days.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect.
If you don't agree with updated Terms, you can cancel your account before the changes take effect. Continuing to use LaunchPilot after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
