What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They're used to remember information about you — like whether you're logged in — across page loads and sessions.
LaunchPilot uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) to keep the product working, remember your preferences, and understand how people use the app.
Types of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories based on their purpose. The first category is strictly necessary — you cannot opt out of these. The rest are optional.

Third-party cookies
The only third-party cookies we allow are from PostHog (analytics) and Polar (payment processing). Both are limited in scope:
- PostHog — analytics only, no cross-site tracking, EU data residency, governed by PostHog's privacy policy
- Polar / Stripe — payment fraud prevention only, set on checkout pages only, governed by Stripe's privacy policy
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising network cookies.
Managing and disabling cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Here's how to manage cookies in common browsers:
For analytics opt-out specifically, you can also opt out from within LaunchPilot at Settings → Privacy → Analytics.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. LaunchPilot does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret them. Our analytics do not track you across sites regardless of DNT status.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the product evolves or if the law changes. Material changes will be announced by email and flagged in the app. We'll always show the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
